With a blend of expertise and enthusiasm, our team, including regular members and remote contributors, works tirelessly to provide top-tier content for dog enthusiasts worldwide.
Since our launch in 2014, our mission has been clear: to deliver high-quality, reliable advice on dog ownership. From expert how-to guides and homemade dog food recipes to product reviews and giveaways, our editor-in-chief, Joe, is at the forefront, ensuring you have access to valuable insights.
We also collaborate with industry professionals and experts, continuously testing and reviewing pet products to help new and seasoned pet parents navigate the ever-expanding world of pet care brands and supplies.
Veterinary Review Board
Dr. Myles Rowley, DVM
Dr. Myles Rowley is a dedicated small-animal veterinarian who has been living her dream since graduating in 2012. A proud University of Florida alumna, she has been practicing in Stuart, FL, for over a decade and is currently building her dream hospital.
Passionate about education and preventive care, Dr. Rowley believes that a strong relationship with a trusted veterinarian is key to a pet’s long-term health. She loves sharing her knowledge with pet owners, her veterinary team, and the next generation of aspiring vets.
Her areas of expertise include:

✔ Nutrition & holistic approaches (acupuncture, herbal medicine, laser therapy)
Outside the clinic, Dr. Rowley enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, exploring Jupiter’s beaches, and cheering on the Florida Gators!
Dr. Robert Buzzetti, DVM
With nearly five decades of experience, Dr. Robert Buzzetti is a leader in veterinary medicine. A graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine (1975), he was honored with the Riser Award for Advanced Surgical Skills before moving to Florida to establish multiple successful veterinary practices, including the Animal Medical Center of Jupiter.
Dr. Buzzetti specializes in:
✔ Veterinary dentistry & dermatology (allergy cases)
✔ Preventive & senior pet wellness
✔ Advanced in-house diagnostics & complex internal medicine cases
A passionate advocate for animal welfare, he has been actively involved in rescue efforts, including saving over 180 dogs post-Hurricane Katrina. He also supports wildlife rehabilitation programs and numerous community initiatives.

Dr. Lyndsey Kingsley, DVM
Dr. Lyndsey Kingsley earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, following an honors degree in Biomedical Sciences. She began her career in a bustling brick-and-mortar practice with a special focus on exotic pets before launching a full-service house-call practice in Austin, TX.
In 2021, she expanded her mission by joining BetterVet, a nationwide, fear-free certified mobile veterinary service, where she now serves as Chief of Staff.
Outside of work, Dr. Kingsley enjoys competitive mountain biking, motocross, and camping with her Swedish Vallhund, Fynn.

As the CEO of Dogs Forum, Joe Lorano is at the forefront of our mission to provide pet owners with the best advice and insights on canine care. A certified Pet Food Nutrition Specialist, Joe ensures that our content meets the highest standards of accuracy and value. He oversees content strategy, website management, and PR initiatives, working to expand our reach and strengthen relationships with industry experts and businesses. Passionate about growth and innovation, Joe is dedicated to building Dogs Forum into a go-to resource for dog lovers everywhere.
As a proud pet parent to a Labrador (Hersheys) for more than 15 years, he’s experienced the full spectrum of dog ownership, from joyful moments to the occasional chaos. He even assisted in his Labrador’s puppy delivery!
Now, he shares his personal experiences and expertise with a global community of dog lovers, offering practical tips, heartfelt stories, and guidance for fellow pet parents.
Sabrina Avidal
A lifelong dog owner, Sabrina has spent the past nine years with Dogs Forum, becoming a trusted voice in pet nutrition and holistic home remedies for dogs. With her deep expertise and influential insights, she helps pet parents make informed, healthy choices for their furry friends.
She earned her B.A. in Broadcast Communication from the Florida Polytechnic University
Gianna Sam
For Gianna, compassion for animals is more than a passion—it’s a mission. As a devoted fur mom to a husky dog and 2 rescued cats, she understands the joy of giving pets a second chance at a loving home.
With a background in freelance writing, Gianna has covered everything from breed profiles and nutrition to fascinating pet facts, helping readers make informed decisions about their furry companions.
Mitsou Merada
To Mitsou, love is a wet nose and a wagging tail. Her two dogs, Sebastian and Beans, have been her biggest inspirations, motivating her to become the best pet parent possible.
Her journey of learning led her to four years of writing about canine health and behavior, sharing valuable tips, fun facts, and research-backed insights. She’s a strong advocate for positive reinforcement training and actively challenges outdated dominance-based training theories, believing dogs thrive best with mutual trust and understanding.
Celine Miller
A passionate dog lover, Celine has been part of Dogs Forum for four years. Like many pet owners, she could talk about her dogs (Doris, Kisses, Snickers and Bell) all day—and now, she gets to do just that!
